This is now a textbook example of "thread backfire".
I wonder if Zymurgist or any other CCP employee will dare to post on this thread

lol dare to post? no of course not, you're lucky if they even bothered to read past page 1. They'll have seen the negative comments and marked the thread off.
This thread is probably even blocked off in their internal networks so none of the devs or general lackys get a whiff of how fed up with their pile of crap people are. You don't want to lower employee moral while they're slaving away at all the shiney new features that brings in the money!
YEAH!
I like to read, although sometimes it hurts.
You are a brave man. Kudos for that.
Now, please pick your blackberry/IM/email and relay the message to all the other devs/executives that are on their endless vacations, that we haven't forgot about how broke the game is and that we are still waiting for that "transparent" response we were promised.

Originally by: CCP PR 'CCP has invested significant time and resources throughout EVE's history on increasing the performance of fleet fights. We've always had a team of developers devoted to improving our technology and in recent years we made exponential headway through massive server upgrades and initiatives like "Stackless IO".
'Currently, unsurprisingly, this effort is our No.1 development priority and we have given the specialised team carte blanche in re-attaining 1,000+ player fleet battles that EVE is famous for.
'With the help of the EVE community on the test server, we believe we are close to some investigative breakthroughs and will continue to relay any progress via our developer blogs.'
Lol. So NOW it's your "number 1 priority" and the team dedicated to it has "carte blanche"? And since when is that, because the CSM minutes don't seem to reflect that. Zulu's attempt at damage control and all the technical posts by Explorer and others merely said "yes we are dealing with it".
Now this triple ****storm happens, and suddenly lag is your "number 1 priority"?
Heh.

It made it to Kotaku.
What you are going to do now CCP? More damage control, when even the gaming press knows it IS damage control?

In these few years I have been playing Eve, I had never seen a thread where someone said "I'm leaving Eve" without getting 10 replies with "can I have your stuff???". But this thread has more than 1000 responses in 3 days, many of people cancelling... and no people is laughing except a couple of well identified CCP shills.
Last week, you had a 60+ page threadnought, and even before that, you had a 2000+ "supported" thread in the assembly hall asking nicely about this: Lag, unfinished features, crippling bugs, UI, etc.
So CCP, I have a question you might have missed before:
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW
And please, spare us the damage control

Hypocrites the ****ing lot of you.
People complain because they care!
People complain because they don't get things their way.
Haha nice try.
So, let's say your ISP has a custom of doing traffic shaping, they have bandwidth caps, the service drops randomly from time to time and their customer service is inexistant, but just because there is no better ISP on the market you are going to give them a prize as the BEST ISP out there, therefore empowering them and giving them excuses for NOT fixing what is wrong? Good way of thinking you have there Mr. Quell.
We are being asked to vote for the Best MMMO, not for the less crappy one.

Best. Noun. "One that surpasses all others."
Thats all it means, same with Least ****. One can strive to be the least **** and still be the best. You're just frothing what you want Best to mean; Best does not imply one product is any magnitude of quality over the next. Just that it is better.
I got to wonder if you really believe this or you are just trolling.
Or maybe you are really one of Quell's underlings, in which case... keep up the good work! you just should try to be more subtle, it might work better
When your workmates finally come back from vacation, tell them that we are still waiting for them here
